Uneducated, not wealthy, working as a daily wage labourer - these are terms used to describe "beneficiaries" in the Development circus world. Thimmakka fits all of these categories and she is one of the best manifestation of "developed" humans. She along with her husband started to plant trees along the roadside and care for them.
Today after 114 years of a dedicated life, she leaves behind trees that will live and love people for another 100+ years, perhaps inspiring many more young Thimmakkas that you need not let the situation or others' categories reduce your role to a mere beneficiary, that it is possible for one to make a difference to the world far beyond one's immediate surrounding, society, culture and life.
